England update: Quansah ruled out

Jarell Quansah will sit out England's FIFA World Cup qualifier against the Latvian side due to a physical issue and the defender – who did not take part in England's three-nil exhibition victory over the Welsh team at Wembley Stadium – will return to his club the Bundesliga club.

The former Liverpool defender has been a regular in Leverkusen's backline this campaign but England said no additional team additions were scheduled for the qualification match in the Latvian capital on this Tuesday.

England could secure a spot for next year's FIFA World Cup with two matches to remaining if they defeat Latvia on Tuesday and results in other matches in their qualifying group go their in their favor.

Introduction

This is make or break for Ireland, though their opportunities of reaching the World Cup may already seem finished. A familiar figure in the Portuguese star awaits them, and the Portuguese squad are leading of their group. At Sporting Club’s stadium, the Irish side confront a huge task.

Our other main focus will be European champion Spain, who have triumphed in all their matches so far in their group, against the Georgian team, who have never qualified for a finals and are hoping for the playoffs. Khvicha Kvaratskhelia has been a uncertainty and Liverpool fans will get a opportunity to see Giorgi Mamardashvili.
